Benefit from a Physical Address at any iPostal1 Location
- Choose a Virtual Office Address. Choose a physical address from 500 digital mailbox locations in the U.S. and internationally. Then select the personal or business plan that is best for you and how much mail you expect to receive.
- Checkout. At checkout, provide your contact information plus credit card or PayPal account.
-
Verification of Identity. After signing up for a location you will be assigned a personal mailbox number and receive instructions for verifying your identity to help prevent fraud:
- For U.S. locations, the USPS requires the Form 1583 be completed, notarized, and filed with two forms of ID. Your mail center may allow you to sign in their presence for a small fee. To notarize your form without going to your mail center, you must use our secure and convenient online notary provider for $25.
- For locations outside the U.S., you will also need to complete a required identity verification process.
- Redirect your mail. To forward mail from U.S. addresses and receive mail at your new address, file a Temporary Change of Address form with the USPS and/or notify senders directly. To forward mail from addresses outside the U.S., check your local postal service procedures.

All iPostal1 physical addresses are real street addresses. These addresses are ideal for receiving packages or to use as a business address. With over 500 address locations, you can get a physical address in many small cities and towns, as well. We’re continually adding new street addresses to our global network. If we don’t have a physical address near you now, we may have one near you very soon.
Yes. Once you sign up for your first iPostal1 physical address, you'll find an ‘Add Location’ button when you log into your digital mailbox. Use that button to add additional physical addresses. You can manage all of your physical addresses from your one account.
You will need to file a separate USPS Form 1583 for each new physical address. However, if you use our online notary service, you'll get a discount on additional notarizations completed during the same session. All 1583’s and ID’s done through our online notary will be automatically uploaded to the correct physical address for processing.
No, a Physical Address cannot be a PO box with the USPS. That is because a post office box is not a real street-name address, which is the key requirement for a Physical Address.
When a Physical Address is accompanied by Digital Mailbox service, as is the case with iPostal1, you get a whole different level of convenience and service vs. a traditional PO box from the Postal Service.
There are certain things that a person can do with a Physical Address but not with a PO box. For example, if you have a home business, you can register your business, apply for credit, and receive packages from any carrier, such as UPS or FedEx.
With Digital Mailbox service from iPostal1, you will be notified by email or smartphone alert when new mail arrives at your Physical Address, so you can view and manage your mail and packages with our app or from your laptop.
For personal use, receive mail and packages at a secure location whether you are home or away. Never worry about porch pirates or how to get your mail when you are on vacation or away for the summer.
A Physical Address with iPostal1 securely receives and stores your physical mail and packages until you are ready to pick them up or forward them to wherever you may be.
This is perfect for people who worry about porch pirates stealing their packages while they are away, for people who travel frequently, RV’ers, or people who have a second home.
Now you can view and manage your mail and packages from anywhere, with our app or from your laptop. You can request a scan of mail content and see the PDF in your iPostal1 inbox, discard or shred unwanted mail, or even deposit a check by mail.
Your business needs a physical mailing address that is a real street address so that you can:
- register your business
- apply for credit
- receive packages from any carrier, such as UPS or FedEx.
You cannot do any of these things with a PO box from the Post Office.
In addition, having a real street address for your business instead of your home address gives your company a more professional image and protects your privacy. Do you really want all your customers and business partners to know where you live?
With iPostal1, a business can easily add more addresses to establish a business presence at any one of over 500 iPostal1 locations with just a few clicks. It is a great way to scale a growing business without taking on expensive leases or renting an office at business executive center.
Add local or toll-free phone and fax to create virtual office address.
No. A PO box from your local Post Office is just that – a PO box and not a Physical Address, as it is not a real street address. A few USPS locations offer a real street address alternative to a PO box but nothing close to the over locations on iPostal1 – all real street mailing addresses. In addition, an iPostal1 Physical Address comes with Digital Mailbox service, while a PO box does not.
A mailbox with a Physical Address is a real street address that you choose as a mailing address for your personal use or for your business. When you get a mail box at an iPostal1 Physical Address, you get a unique mailbox number for your business mail and packages. All mailing addresses on iPostal1 are either professional retail pack and ship stores or coworking space or executive business centers in office buildings, where you mail and packages are securely received and stored until you are ready to pick them up or forward them.
Yes. PO boxes from the United States Postal Service may not be used to register an LLC. Your business mailing address needs to be a real street address.
Yes. You can rent a Physical Address with iPostal1. Choose from over 500 address locations across the U.S. and in other countries. Monthly mailbox fees start at only $9.99 per month with no long-term contract. Get two months free when you sign up for a yearly plan. View and manage your mail and packages with our app or from your laptop. See sender information and with a few clicks have mail forwarded, opened and scanned, held to pick up, or discarded or shredded.
Absolutely! An iPostal1 physical address can serve as a reliable mailing address for both personal and business use. You can receive mail and packages from all carriers, including USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, and Amazon, ensuring that your items are securely stored until you're ready to pick them up or have them forwarded to you.
We recommend filing a Temporary Change of Address with your local post office so all your first-class mail from all senders will be forwarded to your iPostal1 address. Otherwise, only the senders you inform, whether business or personal, will know to send mail to your iPostal1 address.
While iPostal1 physical addresses are suitable for a wide range of mailing needs, specific requirements for sending and receiving military mail should be verified with the appropriate military postal service. Our physical addresses are designed to handle civilian mail and package deliveries from all major carriers.
Yes, an iPostal1 physical address can serve as a full-fledged replacement for traditional post office services. With added benefits such as remote mail management, package forwarding, and real street address functionality, it's a modern solution for mail and package handling.
